These target and nourish dry, frequently-washed or stressed skin in a non-sticky, comforting formulation.
The Science Behind the Ingredients
Glycerin draws moisture into the skin’s upper layer to boost hydration, and assists specialist keratin-creating cells, important for skin elasticity. Emollient hemp and sunflower seed oils are rich in omega-6 – essential to keep the skin barrier working properly.
Hemp seed oil also contains omega-3 and gamma linolenic acid, lipids associated with reduced inflammation and water loss, that promote smoothness and resilience.
Biologically-active tocopherol (vitamin E) is great for neutralising free radicals. It’s been shown to support the skin barrier and reduce environmental stress, especially in dry and UV-exposed skin.
Glyceryl stearate, stearic acid, and cetearyl alcohol reinforce the skin’s lipid matrix for a moisture-rich environment and improved moisture retention.
